Izhorskiye Zavody Successfully Delivers Two Reactors to Tatneft Site

Izhorskiye Zavody, part of OMZ Group, has delivered 1600-R-0101 diesel fuel hydrofining reactor and 4200-R-0101 heavy gas oil hydrofining reactor to Tatneft complex of oil refineries and petrochemical plants in Nizhnekamsk.

The equipment was produced and delivered under contracts signed with Tatneft in early 2014. In addition to production of the equipment, the contract also includes after-sales services provided by Izhorskiye Zavody to Tatneft.

The 1600-R-0101 reactor has an internal diameter of 4,200 mm, 140 mm walls, is 28.5 m high and weighs nearly 370 tons.

The diesel fuel hydrofining unit production is licensed by US company Shell. The 4200-R-0101 reactor has an internal diameter of 3,600 mm, 120 mm walls, is 45 m high and weighs more than 500 tons. The heavy gas oil hydrofining unit production is licensed by French company Axens.

The reactors were shipped to the customer in early September, travelling a distance of over 2,000 km in a record time of three weeks and making a successful arrival to the site. In February 2015 Izhorskiye Zavody delivered another vessel to Tatneft, a 1500-E-0001 kerosene hydrofining reactor. The reactor production is licensed by US company UOP.
