Non-destructive testing laboratory of OMZ Izhora confirmed compliance with the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping certificate of recognition

Laboratory of non-destructive testing of the research and development center of OMZ Izhora, a part of OMZ Group, has successfully confirmed its compliance with Russian Maritime Register of Shipping certificate of recognition.

Russian Maritime Register of Shipping (RS) established in 1913 in Russia is one of the most known and credible classification societies setting high quality standards in shipbuilding. RS is a member of International Association of Classification Societies (IACS). All the RS activities ensure high standard of safe navigation established by world maritime community.

Certification was conducted in full compliance with the regulations for the manufacturing of materials and products for shipbuilding and marine engineering. No discrepancies were found in the course of the certification procedure.

The recognition certificate proves that the laboratory of non-destructive testing possesses technical competence to conduct non-destructive testing (ultrasound, MPT, PT) in full compliance with the standards of the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping.
