Izhorskiye Zavody delivers kerosene hydrofining reactor to Tatneft facility

Izhorskiye Zavody, part of OMZ Group, has completed production of 1500-E-0001 reactor and delivered the equipment to Tatneft complex of oil refineries and petrochemical plants located in Nizhnekamsk.

1500-R-0001 reactor was produced from SA-387M Gr.22CL.2 grade steel with 347SS grade steel coating. The reactor is over 29 meter high, more than 2 meters in diameter and weighs over 170 tons. US company UOP serves as a license grantor for the kerosene hydrofining unit.

Izhorskiye Zavody produces three oil refining reactors for Tatneft under contracts signed in early 2014. Two vessels – 1600-R-0101 diesel fuel hydrofining reactor and 4200-R-0101 heavy gas oil hydrofining reactor – currently remain in production at the enterprise. Apart from production of the equipment, obligations under these contracts also include after sales service.

Izhorskiye Zavody and Tatneft already have experience of successful cooperation: in 2010, Izhorskiye Zavody produced two hydrocracking reactors for TANEKO oil refining complex, part of Tatneft Group.
