OMZ Group subsidiaries to deliver equipment for Belarusian NPP

Izhorskiye Zavody and OMZ Special Steels, both OMZ Group subsidiaries, in cooperation with AEM-technology CJSC (part of Atomenergomash, a Rosatom engineering division) will deliver equipment for units No.1 and No.2 of the Belarusian Nuclear Power Plant currently being under construction.

Izhorskiye Zavody will manufacture pressure compensating valves and main circulation lines. OMZ Special Steels will deliver to AEM-technology CJSC subsidiaries a batch of semifinished metallurgical products including those for reactor vessels.

The deliveries are valued at 1.5 billion rubles and are scheduled for the 2014-2017 period.

OMZ Group subsidiaries are traditional suppliers of the main vessel equipment of the nuclear island for Rosatom. Currently equipment for units No.4 of Rostov NPP, units No.1 and No.2 of Baltic NPP, units No.3 and No.4 of Tianwan (China) NPP is under production at Izhorskiye Zavody.
